MONDRI jewelry is made of fine 925 silver or high-quality gold-plated silver and Baltic amber.
Jewelry details are gilded with 24k gold vermeil, a quality of 4 micron layer (rings are gilded with a 10 micron layer)
MONDRI jewelry is made using genuine Baltic amber. Through a long and meticulous process, we select only the highest quality amber, which is neither glued, pressed, nor melted.
We are registered with the Lithuanian Assay Office, and MONDRI jewelry made with precious metals is hallmarked and marked with a registered responsibility mark.
The silver details of MONDRI jewelry are gold-plated using electroplating, covering them with 24 karat gold. We apply a thick layer of gold to the jewelry details – 4 microns, and rings are coated with a layer of 10 microns. This plating looks excellent and remains unchanged even when wearing the jewelry daily, for many years.
We use only carefully selected high quality amber jewelry and precious metals for production, we do not work with the customer’s raw material to ensure the fine amber jewelry quality.
Jewelry production can usually take 5 to 14 business days (rings and cufflinks up to 20 days). If you would like to receive the handmade amber jewelry by a specific day, please inform us and we will definitely take this into account when coordinating your order.
We always ensure that our customers are able to enjoy jewelry that fits them perfectly, so you can find more information on how to choose the most suitable size of MONDRI jewelry in the size guide.
The jewelry gifts will be placed in branded MONDRI boxes and beautifully wrapped. The buyer can purchase a card or a gift bag of the desired size separately with the shopping cart for their handmade amber jewelry.
After order confirmation, items are shipped within 1-2 business days. For items that are made to order, shipping takes 5-20 business days.
The production time for each item is indicated in the product description.
Items are delivered within Lithuania using the following methods:
1. Registered Lithuanian Post – delivery takes 3-4 business days.
2. To an LP Express parcel locker – delivery to the selected locker takes 1-2 business days.
3. To a DPD parcel locker – delivery to the selected locker takes 1-2 business days.
4. By DPD courier – delivery to your home, workplace, or any other convenient address at a pre-arranged time within 1-2 business days.

Ordered MONDRI jewelry is shipped to many countries worldwide.*
Goods are dispatched in the following ways:
1. Registered Lithuanian Post – the parcel will reach you within 1-4 weeks.
2. DPD courier** – the parcel will reach you within 5-7 working days.
3. DHL express – the parcel will reach you within 3-7 working days.
4. FedEx express – the parcel will reach you within 3-7 working days.
*Jewelry is not shipped to Iceland, as precious metals and gemstones are on the list of prohibited items (for shipping to Iceland).
**We dispatch orders via DPD courier only to countries that belong to the European Union.

If customs duties or other taxes are applied when delivering goods abroad, they are paid by the Buyer.
To obtain further information about customs duties, the buyer must contact their country’s customs authority.
The delivery time depends on the nature of the delivery service. If your shipment has not reached you within the specified period, we recommend checking its whereabouts in the postal service system. If there are any uncertainties, please inform us via email at info@mondri.lt – we will promptly investigate the reasons and strive to resolve the situation.
The recipient must pick up the shipment from the LP Express parcel locker within 72 hours of the shipment being delivered to the parcel locker. If the shipment is not picked up within that time, it will be retrieved by a courier, and the recipient will receive an SMS message with instructions on how to redirect the shipment to another parcel locker for re-delivery. The redirection can be done within 4 days of receiving the SMS message. If not done within the specified time, the shipment will be returned to the sender (MONDRI).
Shipments at DPD parcel lockers are held for 5 calendar days from the date of delivery to the parcel locker. If not picked up within this time, the shipment will be returned to MONDRI.
Lithuanian Post holds shipments for 30 calendar days.
When ordering items, the Buyer must specify in the relevant fields provided by the Seller the Buyer’s personal data necessary for the proper fulfillment of the goods order: name, surname, goods delivery address, telephone number, and email address.
If you notice that you provided incorrect information necessary for shipping, please contact us immediately via email at info@mondri.lt.
If the order has not been shipped yet, the information will be corrected right away. If the order has already been shipped, it may not always be possible to change the provided address or phone number, so the order may be returned to MONDRI.
In such cases, the order can be resent. Shipping costs are covered by the buyer.
MONDRI guarantees the quality of jewelry in accordance with the standards set by international and Lithuanian Assay Offices. All jewelry produced and sold by MONDRI is marked with a hallmark and responsibility mark.
All MONDRI jewelry comes with a 12-month warranty period. MONDRI will repair or replace the jewelry free of charge, provided it is marked with the MONDRI responsibility mark, has not been subjected to external mechanical or chemical effects, and the defects are assessed as manufacturing faults.
If a buyer received a low-quality piece of jewelry, MONDRI undertakes to accept the item and repair or replace it with a similar quality product within 30 calendar days.
The buyer must contact within 30 calendar days due to the low-quality item and provide the purchase document.
-The jewelry was purchased more than 12 months ago.
-The defects in the jewelry arose due to improper use, mechanical damage, exposure to chemical substances, or natural wear and tear.
-There are visible signs of technical repair on the jewelry, performed by the buyer or a third party.

The buyer must contact via email: info@mondri.lt and provide information about which jewelry and why they want to submit it for warranty repair.
Then, the buyer must securely package the jewelry and send it by registered mail to the following address: Verkių g. 29 D, 09108, Vilnius. When sending the jewelry by registered mail, the buyer must inform MONDRI about the sent jewelry and provide the tracking number.
The buyer must provide the purchase document and specify the defects of the item by filling out the MONDRI jewelry repair form.
From the day of delivery of the jewelry, within 3-7 days, MONDRI will assess the condition of the jewelry and inform the customer about the possibilities and conditions of repair. MONDRI may charge for repair services if it is determined that the defects in the jewelry arose due to the customer’s fault or do not meet the conditions of warranty repair.
The Buyer may submit jewelry for non-warranty repair (after a 12-month period). The procedure for non-warranty jewelry repair remains the same as for warranty repair.
MONDRI may not perform the jewelry repair service if:
– the product is in extremely poor condition due to wear and tear;
– it is not possible to replace the damaged parts of the jewelry with others or add missing product parts;
– the cost of repairing the product is higher than the price of a new product.
The thread used for stringing bracelets and necklaces is special, designed for stringing pearls, amber, and other minerals. Its strength and properties are sufficient for such design pieces; however, frequent wearing and wetting of the jewelry can lead to wear and tear, making re-threading advisable.
It is recommended to re-thread all types of necklaces, not just those made of pearls or other minerals, but also amber. So, if you notice that the thread of your jewelry has stretched or worn out, we recommend using our re-threading service. The price for jewelry re-threading depends on the length of the bracelet or necklace.
Breakage of necklaces (chains with pendants), necklace chains, and earring chains is considered mechanical damage and is not covered by the warranty. The Seller does not repair broken chains. The Buyer is offered to purchase a new chain, which the Seller will attach to the existing piece of jewelry.
Due to the inventory system’s tracking of paired jewelry and the specifics of matching and finishing amber, MONDRI cannot produce a single earring.
According to the Retail Trade Rules approved by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, quality jewelry purchased at MONDRI jewelry salons is not eligible for returns.
However, jewelry purchased from the MONDRI online store can be returned or exchanged within 30 calendar days. The return/exchange period is calculated from the day the buyer receives the item, i.e., when the item is handed over to them or collected from the post office/postbox.
In all cases, the buyer must provide the purchase document (receipt, bank payment statement). Without the purchase document, the items will not be returned/exchanged.
Jewelry that has been custom-made to order, as well as all individually crafted rings and engraved jewelry, cannot be returned or exchanged.

Products (jewelry) to be exchanged/returned must be unworn, unchanged in appearance, and complete, in the original packaging (if returning the product in the original packaging is not possible, then pack it in a tidy box in which the product would be securely packaged) with all accessories. Jewelry must come with tags and certificates from the Lithuanian Assay Office – seals. Once the seal is cut, the jewelry cannot be exchanged or returned.
In all cases of return/exchange, the buyer must provide the purchase document (goods receipt, bank payment statement). Goods will not be returned/exchanged without the provision of the purchase document.

If you notice any missing items or defects in your order, contact MONDRI immediately, within 30 calendar days. Otherwise, it will be considered that the received item matched the order and quality warranty.
The buyer must contact MONDRI via email at info@mondri and inform them of the item they wish to exchange or return. Then, the buyer must securely package the jewelry and send it via registered mail.
Until the exchanged/returned jewelry reaches MONDRI jewelry house, it remains the property and responsibility of the customer.

The buyer covers the shipping costs, except in cases where the item is recognized as defective or if MONDRI is at fault for sending the wrong item to the buyer, in which case MONDRI covers the shipping costs.
If paid shipping was selected when purchasing items, the shipping fee will not be refunded in cases where the exchanged/returned items are of good quality. If the items are defective, the shipping fee will be refunded.

Once the returned item reaches MONDRI, the buyer receives confirmation. The refund for the returned item will be processed to the buyer’s specified account within 30 calendar days.
Refunds are issued only if the returned item meets all return requirements.
If the returned/exchanged item is of good quality, the shipping costs are deducted from the total refund amount.
Jewelry can scratch due to contact with each other or other surfaces, so we recommend storing them separately.
Unused silver and gold-plated silver jewelry can lose their shine or tarnish. Do not store jewelry in damp places (for example, in the bathroom).
Unused silver and gold-plated silver jewelry can lose their shine or tarnish. Oxidation can also occur due to chemical reactions or improper storage conditions of the jewelry. Therefore, regularly clean the metal of the jewelry with a MONDRI special care wipe designed for cleaning precious metals.
When cleaning necklaces and bracelets, separate the components and clean them thoroughly one by one. Clean the smooth silver components, which are among amber beads, using a cloth from top to bottom so that the rotating silver component is cleaned from all sides.
Clean the clasps of earrings and ring-shaped components from both the outer and inner sides.
For chains, clean them throughout their length from top to bottom, securely enveloping them with a MONDRI care cloth. Chain clasps are one of the most sensitive parts of the jewelry, so when cleaning, grasp a firmer part of the chain.
Jewelry pieces made of silver or gold that have direct contact with sensitive skin (e.g., earrings) should be carefully wiped with salicylic spirit or salicylic acid, intended for skincare, after cleaning with silver or gold cleaning agents.
If the jewelry is heavily oxidized and does not clean with a care cloth, you can bring the jewelry to the MONDRI jewelry house for us to clean it.
The cleaning cost of the jewelry depends on the type of jewelry and the quantity of jewelry.
Amber is an organic mineral, so over time, it can change its original color.
The most noticeable changes in color occur with white amber. White amber can turn yellowish, and this is a natural property of amber. Color change is usually due to chemical changes in the amber, which can be inevitable and irreversible.
Several factors can expedite this process. The main reason is prolonged exposure of the amber to light, especially ultraviolet (UV) radiation. Amber, as an organic material, reacts with environmental factors over time:
UV radiation: Sunlight, especially its UV rays, can alter the chemical structure of amber, causing it to become more yellowish. UV radiation promotes oxidation and other chemical changes in amber.
Air and moisture: Exposure of amber to air and moisture can cause surface oxidation and change its color. Air pollution can also have an impact, as certain pollutants can interact with amber and cause it to become more yellow.
Storage conditions: Improper storage conditions, such as high temperature or direct sunlight exposure, can accelerate the color-changing process. Also, worn jewelry has direct contact with skin, sweat, or may come into contact with cosmetics, perfumes, or lacquer.
To preserve the white color of amber for as long as possible, it is recommended to store white amber items away from direct and prolonged sunlight, avoid storing them in bathrooms or with other jewelry containing metals or other minerals that may affect chemical reactions. Also, avoid direct contact with detergents or other substances, cosmetics, and perfumes on the jewelry.
You can purchase a gift voucher of your chosen denomination starting from 40 Euros. We typically dispatch a standard card-style gift voucher via the chosen shipping method. Additionally, you can opt for a digital voucher, which will be emailed to you on the same business day.
A gift card of a chosen value is valid for 6 months.
The expiration date is indicated on the gift card.
In exceptional cases, it is possible to extend the expiration date of the gift card.
The customer needs to contact MONDRI and provide the valid gift card, and then the card will be extended until the agreed date.
If a customer requests an extension of the gift card expiration date after the card has expired, it is no longer possible to extend the validity period.
A gift card is a specific type of contract obligating the acquisition of certain goods or services, following the terms specified in the gift card. The validity period of a gift card cannot be extended, and money for an unused voucher is not refundable.
The customer, upon purchasing a gift card, has the right to transfer the gift voucher to another individual, who can then use it once within the specified validity period. In all cases, the gift voucher can only be exchanged for goods or services provided by MONDRI jewelry house. The gift card is not redeemable for cash.
Both digital and card-style gift cards can be used at MONDRI jewelry house or in the online store.
